LOUISIANA TECH UNIVERSITY TECH REPORT 2004.2005 IMPRESSIVE PROGRESS. UNPRECEDENTED CHALLENGES. ![]() The Tech Report 2004-2005, the annual report of Louisiana Tech University, was recently published and documents a year of achievement and challenge. Peruse The Tech Report through the links below and enjoy reading about the great progress of your university. The Tech Report was recently mailed to alumni who have made gifts to the Louisiana Tech University Foundation or are dues paying members of the Louisiana Tech Alumni Association. The report is currently being emailed to subscribers of the E-news and the Tech Update, and also to all alumni and friends with an email address on file at the Marbury Alumni Center. For information about subscribing to the E-news and the Tech Update, please visit: http://www.latechalumni.org/pages/newsletters.php As the end of 2005 draws near, the Tech Foundation is receiving many inquiries about year-end giving to the Tech Foundation in light of KETRA (the Katrina Emergency Relief Tax Act of 2005). In order to encourage charitable gifts to all organizations, KETRA temporarily suspends various limits on charitable deductions for gifts of cash completed before December 31, 2005, and also offers donors over the age of 59 ½ the opportunity to make tax-free gifts with withdrawals from IRAs and other retirement plans. Additional information about KETRA can be found at http://www.latechalumni.org/eoy2005.php. Thank you for your continued loyalty and support for Louisiana Tech. Sincerely, Daniel D. Then came Hurricanes Katrina and Rita and their terrible aftermath. In typically incalculable layers of responsiveness, the Tech Family never missed a beat. Some examples… read more |
