Alumni Association
The mission of the Louisiana Tech Alumni Association is to increase the level of awareness and support for the university's goals, objectives, programs, and activities through effective communication with the many constituencies of the university.

The Alumni Association is part of the Division of University Advancement and is located in the Marbury Alumni Center. Ryan Richard is the director and Barbara Swart is the Administrative Assistant.

Why Join the Louisiana Tech Alumni Association?
Network with over 70,000 alumni and friends in every state and in many foreign countries. The Louisiana Tech Magazine is mailed twice a year to dues paying members. The magazine features Tech alumni and friends, faculty and students and gives alumni a chance to keep up with classmates in the News About You section.
Recruit the best and brightest... Alumni and friends play a key role in recruiting top students to Louisiana Tech University. The Alumni Association works closely with the Admissions Office.
Homecoming Weekend? Golden Society Reunion, 50-Year Class Reunion, President?s Dinner, Alumnus of the Year, Open House at the Alumni Center and the Annual Alumni and Friends Barbecue.
Tower Medallion... This award is bestowed on Louisiana Tech alumni inducted into the Hall of Distinguished Alumni. The purpose of the award is to recognize those individuals who have distinguished themselves by exceptional achievement, community service, and humanitarian activities. Chapter events... The Alumni Association has 34 chapters from Portland, Oregon to Charlottesville, North Carolina. From formal dinners to crawfish boils the Alumni Association is here to keep you connected! View the contacts of these Chapters on-line.
Scholarships... The Alumni Association provides 15 scholarships annually for children of alumni.

Who can Join the Alumni Association?
Anyone who wishes to show support for Louisiana Tech can be a member of the Alumni Association. Whether you are an alumnus, parent, or friend, if you'd like to be informed about campus activities and have a role in the "Tech Network," the Association offers something for everyone.
